You Don’t Have to Get Older

Age Brainy Quote.jpg
I agree with the statement above, but maybe only partially. Do you know a quote that says…?

You don’t play because you get older. You get older because you don’t play.

Well, I think by playing you get to see—and maybe experience—the world from a different point of view. That is, from an innocent child. Like when I was playing football with my friends when I was 10 years old, I could play casually without thinking about the scores. Or maybe when I had to guess the word from the description given by my friends, it was fun and somehow, felt innocent.

Once, I discovered the hard truth that as you get older, your time to play is decreasing. But, in my opinion playing is a great way to keep us young—physically and mentally. There are many ways to keep yourselves young while you get older.

But sadly, without getting older, I’m not getting any wiser and more mature. Instead, I am more prone to making more unnecessary mistakes, spikes of emotions, and errors in my mindset. And in this world, I don’t think you can always keep yourselves young.
