Timely Pain

Life Goes On

I think I was fortunate to have felt how painful unrequited love was. Even so, it was a timely pain to remind me that love was not my primary purpose. Instead, I should focus on something more important, like reading and gaining new experience.

It’s not just about love, though. It pains me more that some people really changes. Like my mother who maybe love me less because she cares more about her granddaughter and her husband — or, my father because he’s having diabetes — than me. It hurts.

But life keep goes on. Life doesn’t take a break and wait until you’re standing tall again, no. Facing the harsh truth, encountering things that go wrong and other things hurts. But at least, it’s a timely pain.
